The spice Cassia Cinnamon is one species of the Cinnamomum tree that is used primarily for its aromatic bark. Cassia bark, which comes in both powdered and whole or "stick" form, is used as a flavouring for desserts, pastries and meat. Our ground cassia cinnamon is sourced from India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia and is heat treated to reduce the naturally occuring bacteria.
