Ground White Pepper
Ground white pepper is the fine, ground and sieved product of Piper nigrum which has been heat treated.
White peppercorns are produced from the seed of the pepper plant, with the darker coloured skin of the pepper fruit removed. The seeds are ground and sieved to produce a fine white pepper. The product is sourced from various countries of origin including Indonesia, Vietnam, India and Sri-Lanka and is heat treated through the steam sterilisation process to remove the naturally occuring bacteria.
