Early next month Sleaford Quality Food’s will be attending Made in Sleaford, an event ran by North Kesteven District Council to showcase the breadth and strength of companies based or operating in the town. Sleaford has a diversified range of innovative service providers, manufacturers and engineers which form the core of its heritage and are key to its future economic growth.
Of North Kesteven District Council Leader Cllr Marion Brighton OBE, ‘Sleaford has a long, proud legacy of manufacture, engineering and innovation; it is home to some fantastic companies, creating amazing innovative products that compete successfully in world markets.’
Only in its second year, the event was a great success last year and is a great opportunity to inspire locals and allow the general public to see some of the products and services that are created close to home, something which often goes unnoticed.
