Senior Development Technologist
Established in 1968, Sleaford Quality Foods Ltd is a leading supplier of dehydrated herbs, spices, starches, fruit, and an extensive range of dried blended products to the foodservice and food manufacturing industries.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our fast-paced Innovation Team working in our New Innovation Centre. The purpose of the role is to develop new and innovative products and provide support at all stages of the development process from concept to product trials.
Main Responsibilities
- Work alongside relevant functions to support the development of new products
- Visit and liaise directly with customers to identify and present new concepts
- Prepare technical documentation and evaluate HACCP requirements for new products
- Co ordinate and control all NPD projects from concept through to production
- Develop and match new and current recipes to customer requirements
- Maintain a comprehensive database of recipe information and costings
- Identify emerging food and market trends

- Good standard of computer literacy
- Full UK driving licence
